Help Wanted

I am looking for an intern/apprentice to work directly for me in LA. And potentially another one who would work remotely from wherever you live. This would be high-level Hollywood and edgeconomy stuff – but totally training-oriented. I won’t make you get coffee or answer phone calls.

Then I am also looking for someone who already understands the internet side and has a fairly extensive background in writing. It would be a full-time, legit salary job for an enormously successful entrepreneur (worth let’s say $300 million) in Los Angeles. This is incredibly serious so we either need to have talked before and the only reason we shouldn’t have is because you’ve been too busy doing it. Just shoot me a reminder with your stuff if you’re interested in doing what I do for Robert Greene, Tucker Max and TheExecutive rolled into one position.

I know these open casting calls typically deter the people that would actually be perfect for this kind of thing. I know I’ve never responded to one. So I want this to be a little bit different. Do NOT send me your resume.

I need links to ANY of your online presences, blogs, Wikipedia, messageboard accounts, delicious, Amazon.com history, RSS reader – whatever YOU think is important. If you send me a screenshot of something in Internet Explorer, don’t expect a response. If you’ve emailed me before, let me know. I’d like to know where you went or are going to school. I NEED to know where you currently live. (If you’re near LA you get a huge bump). Send me something that says something about you as a person because that’s the only thing that really matters – the rest can be worked around.

Both of these are extremely huge opportunities. If I hadn’t just settled into the perfect situation, I would personally consider taking the second one myself and the first is exactly what I was offered roughly a year ago. I wish I could go into more detail by I can’t. Email me your stuff and if it’s a match, we’ll go forward and I’ll tell you the rest. I’ve never done anything like this before so if the smarter, older people reading this blog have any advice I would love to hear it.

One last thing:The more reluctant you are to respond to this, the more likely I want to hear from you – and the more perfect you are for what I have to offer in exchange. If you read my blog and think “Oh I’m just like him” please don’t email me. The people I want to hear from are the ones who nod in agreement at the ideas I’m struggling with, move on and continue on with their life. For example, almost everyone who comes up to Tucker either mentions drinking, chicks or some obscure reference from the messageboard. A person who was healthy in any of those areas wouldn’t make that mistake. I don’t want to work with another version of myself (and neither will the other company), I want someone who is on the same wavelength.
